The Down Syndrome of Orange County (www.dsfoc.org)has a program called “The Learning Program” specially designed for children with Down syndrome and other learning difficulties. They have created lots of resources for teaching Math and Reading. Their Math program uses a format to teach numbers that starts with a book and then has worksheets and flashcards for matching numbers. They offer a book for teaching numbers up to 5. So I used their format and created some additional resources for teaching numbers. They are listed below.
